La Tejita beach is the perfect place for those who want to immerse themselves in natural beauty at its finest. With over a kilometer in length, this beach is located in El Médano, next to the imposing volcanic cone of Montaña Roja.
The area where La Tejita is located is classified as a protected natural space, which means that direct car access to the beach is not allowed. However, you will find parking available along the Médano-Los Abrigos road, from where you can access the beach through various paths. The walk from the parking areas takes only about five minutes, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant stroll before reaching the coast.
One of the unique features of La Tejita beach is that nudity is allowed, making it a popular destination for those who want to enjoy the sun and the sea in a more liberated way.
It is important to note that La Tejita does not have access for people with disabilities. If you want to comfortably relax under the sun, you have the option to rent sun loungers.
As for parking, there are more than 100 spaces available for visitors. If you prefer to use public transportation, there is also an intercity bus service that takes you to this beautiful beach.
