A paradise in the city centre

The César Manrique Maritime Park is a 22,000 m2 complex located on the south coast of the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with unbeatable views of the Auditorium of Tenerife, designed by Santiago Calatrava, the Palmetum botanical garden and the sea. Easily accessible by car and public transport, this leisure centre has a large parking area. Here, the black of the volcanic stone contrasts with the blue of the crystalline waters and the green of the palm trees and flowers that adorn the space. The artificial waterfalls provide sound and relaxation to this place where it will not be difficult to rest.

Natural elements such as volcanic rocks, palm trees and ornamental plants were used for its design, together with salt water cascades. All of this was decorated with the unmistakable Manriquean wind toys.

In addition to its 3 saltwater swimming pools, it has restaurant services, shops, changing rooms, games rooms, showers and gymnasium, as well as sun lounger and parasol rental services, making it an ideal place for tourist, family, leisure and relaxation activities.

The 2 main swimming pools, with totally crystalline salt water, have artificial islands inside and the depth varies according to the area, with access to them by means of beach-type ramps or stairs. The walkways that connect them through the solarium are perfectly equipped for pushchairs and wheelchairs, as are the changing rooms and other services. There is also a paddling pool for the little ones to enjoy the water and children’s activities in the company of their parents.
